Should I pull over?
1 conversation, 2 podcasts and an article to help you become a better investor
Would you ever go on a road trip without a gas gauge?
The image of walking down the highway hand holding a tank of gas is something I never want to experience.
This week I had a conversation with someone without a financial “gas gauge”. No plan, no idea of current finances, anxious about the markets.
Most of us think we don’t have enough time. What a distorted paradigm!
That’s just like driving without a gas gauge. We don’t have time and cannot afford not to! Sit down, see where you are and plan for the future. Start by setting aside thirty minutes a week.
That hardly seems an inordinate amount of time considering the tremendous benefits in terms of the impact a financial gas gauge will have on other aspects of your life.
A lot of people ask me, “Darin, where can I learn more about what you are doing?”
I included resources from two podcast interviews and an article in Talking Biz to help.
Key Topics included:
Constructing a Balanced Investment Portfolio
The Gentlemen’s Style Guide to Investing
Implications of a global minimum corporate tax
